NUST H12 has new infra-structure , labs and equipment. Also it is the central one as most of the seminars and activities are held there. On the other hand NUST EME has legacy.

Armaghan Saleem In NUST do you get Monthly scholarship? What are GPA  requirements for scholarships?

No, in NUST Scholarships are given on semester basis.

Students who show good academic performance and continue to maintain minimum GPA of 3.5 out of 4.0 in case of all UG programmes except for Medical Sciences, and minimum 70% marks in case of Medical continue to get financial assistance, as per policy in each semester/academic year.



Osama Dar Do first 250 students get scholarship in NUST and HOW  much ?

Almost 200 get scholarship in nust and its for tuition fee only for the first semester.


Annas Abdullah How many students apply in nust? 

There is no reliable data on this topic, but it is widely considered to be around 80, 000 but i think that figure includes students for all fields and departments.

NUST offers scholarships to top 10 % of the students admitted in a particular department. So it depends on the number of students which shall be enrolled in NUST architecture. PLUS nust is fairly cheaper.

Both of you have great chances as not all join nust, some go to pieas , giki, lums etc. NUST offers scholarships to top 10% of the students who join NUST.

Of course YES but you will have to keep your options open and wait for 4th or 5th merit list may be.
MERIT list for 2013 is 

NUST SCHOLARSHIPS:

NUST offers number of partial to fully sponsored merit cum need and
need based scholarships to the students of fresh batch each year. The needy students having low family income of < Rs. 40,000/- may submit application forms duly completed for NUST Need Based Scholarship Scheme, HEC Pak-USaid Merit and Need Based Scholarship(Family income < Rs.35,000/- ) and Punjab Educational Endowment Fund (PEEF) DFID (UKaid) scholarship (family income < Rs. 30,000). Forms duly completed have to be submitted in the concerned institutions at the time of joining. (NUST Need Based Scholarship Financial Assistance forms (2014) and Pak USAID Merit & Need Based Scholarship Program.

After all the NET (NUST Entry test) results have been  announced , NUST will prepares the merit list  and  candidates are assigned  merit positions . Based on  the preferences of the candidates NUST will allocate the undergraduate programs to the candidates.
